Safety Features
Safety is of the utmost importance for Cadillac and when it comes to the Escalade, it is full of safety-minded features. For example, HD Surround Vision utilizes multiple cameras to provide the driver with an overhead view, whether in drive or reverse. With an easy-to-view display on the dash, HD Surround Vision helps the driver through a tight area, or into snug parking space.
The Front Pedestrian Braking allows Escalade to detect a pedestrian directly in front of your vehicle when traveling at 50 mph or less during daylight hours. It can provide braking assist to the driver, or automatically provide hard emergency braking to avoid a possible collision with a pedestrian.
The Escalade comes further equipped with a Rear Pedestrian Alert, in case of someone walking behind the vehicle. This works when the vehicle is in reverse, alerting the driver to avoid a possible collision.
The Rear Camera Mirror option provides a less obstructed view than regular mirrors, although it can be switched, if you prefer, from the camera view and the regular mirror view.
The Escalade's Automatic Breaking System works by detecting the vehicle in front of the driver and enhancing the driver's breaking, or automatically breaking on its own, to aid in the prevention of a possible front-end collision. The optional Rear Cross Traffic feature alerts the driver to cross-traffic behind the Escalade when the vehicle is in reverse.
Further available safety features include the Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, and Automatic Seat Belt Tightening.
New Innovations for 2021
Cadillac boasts the new Escalades are the most technologically advanced version ever, and we can't argue with that.
The 2021 Escalade offers a chance to go hands-free with the introduction of its new Super Super Cruiseâ?¢. This is the first truly hands-free feature that can be accessed on all compatible highways up and down Florida, and around the country. Super Cruise's enhancements include Lane-Change-on-Demand.
Enjoy the display on the curved OLED with a total of 38 inches of diagonal display. The Escalade features the first-ever curved OLED display with a high-pixel density providing a large color range that is easy on the eyes to spot just what you need.
Choose your sound system from the AKG Studio 19-speaker or upgrade to the AKG Studio Reference 36-speaker sound system, both of which are superb options depending upon the importance you place on sound.
As you approach your Escalade, it acknowledges it's happy to see you with its Daytime Running Lamps in front pulsating, and the LED Light Blades in the rear illuminating, twice. Cadillac's crest is located on the back of the curved OLED Display which also illuminates to greet you. If you want more, choose the available puddle lamp, also with the Cadillac crest which also lights up as you arrive.
Furthermore, the 2021 Escalade line allows Cadillac customers to choose from nine interior trim options including four-seat designs varying in patterns and stitching.

Expanded Room in the Escalade ESV
Need a bit more room for you and your passengers? With the Escalade ESV, you can now get eight more inches and a lowered floor providing an additional 10+ inches in legroom for the third row. The ESV contains the maximum of 142.8 cubic feet of cargo space as compared to the 94.2 cubic feet in the standard-size Escalade. It's also larger in the fuel tank with a capacity of more than 28 gallons versus 24 gallons on the standard model.
Great Retained Features
As found in 2020 models, today's Escalade is built with a 420 HP, 6.2L V8 engine run with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Escalade continues to accommodate up to eight passengers. Standard features include:

The Luxury model is available in a Sports edition as is the Premium Luxury model, which also has the options of front LED cornering lamps, and illuminating door handles.
