Cadillac is one of the oldest and most recognized luxury vehicle companies in America's since August of 1902, so it is not a surprise that this brand has inspired many artists to include the brand within the lyrics of a number of songs throughout the years. Here is a list of a few of the most famous Cadillac-inspired songs:

White Walls - Macklemore and Ryan Lewis featuring Schoolboy Q
"I got that off-black Cadillac, midnight drive. Got that gas pedal, leaning back, taking my time" Said Macklemore during "White Walls" released in October of 2013, as well as "I wanna be free, I wanna just live Inside my Cadillac, that is my thing". The rapper sold more than 1 million copies of his debut album "The Heist", so it's safe to assume he can live any way he wants to nowadays. Plus, his song reportedly worked as an amazing press for the Cadillac brand.

Vince Taylor- Brand New Cadillac, covered by The Clash
"My baby drove off in a brand new Cadillac. Well she looked at me, I ain't never comin' back"
Already a swingin' rockabilly favorite, the raw sonic energy from The Clash gave this hit a bit of modern flair. They covered it on their third album, London Calling (1979) and, as well as the original song, it has a very famous guitar solo within musicians.

That's What I Like - Bruno Mars
"Jump in the Cadillac, the girl let's put some miles on it," exhorts Bruno Mars, citing the Cadillac among life's most beloved objects in the heartfelt "That's What I Like" released in 2016 from his third studio album 24K Magic. The song received mixed reviews from music critics, some of whom considered the song to be one of the best on 24K Magic, while others criticized its lyrical content. The song was a commercial success in the US, where it peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Also, according to Rolling Stone, Mars isn't just penning a cute Caddy-inspired lyric here, he's a real-life Cadillac owner and his prized late-model Caddy, named "Bessie" - was the first thing Bruno bought after getting his album deal. Smart man!

Cadillac Song - Ariana Grande
"Ridin' round in my Cadillac," Says Ariana on the very first line of this hit. This song is the sixteenth track on the Target and Japan edition of Ariana Grande's sophomore album, My Everything. The song was released through Republic Records on August 25, 2014. And yes, Ariana -unsurprisingly- does own a couple of Cadillacs.

Even though we enjoyed them thoroughly, songs are not the only thing Cadillac has impacted, artists name's have been affected as well. Many artists have decided to include the brand in their names, a few of the most well known artists are: Cadillac Moon, Cadillac Blindside, Tweed Cadillac, Lester Roadhog Moran & the Cadillac Cowboys, Cadillac Sky, The Cadillac Three, Django's Cadillac, Cadillac Kolstad, and Rita Cadillac, the influence Cadillac has put in the world goes beyond lyrics.
