Sunset has been servicing our 2015 Escalade, this past year, because we have been traveling back and forth to Illinois in the process of moving permanently to Florida. (We did have the Escalade service once in Illinois) But, the last visit to Sunset was for the same problem we were there for the last two times. "The AC blows hot." The first repair was covered under warranty. ( The compressor blew up.) The second visit we were out of warranty and charged $334.84, of which they said they could find nothing wrong. (They basically accused the dealership in Illinois for letting the freon out.) The $334.84 was to diagnose the problem and recharge the system with freon. Two days later we turned because the freon once again was gone.This time they diagnose the problem as the "AC Evaporator Replacement FREON DYE FOUND IN FRONT EVAP DRAIN, EVAPORATOR LEAKING", and this was not covered under warranty...so the repair cost was $4498.12 We asked for a refund of the $334.84 and did not have them do the repair. In returning to Illinois we had the dealership here inspect the car, and it was at no charge. They said they were called by Sunset and they suggested that the problem was the AC condenser. The Illinois dealership also informed us that GM was doing goodwill work and if the problem was the AC Evaporator the replacement cost would be $1500.00. Sunset did not offer this option. We picked up he Escalade yesterday and we were not charged a dime.They found the problem to AC Condenser of which was covered under warranty. And, they did their own testing on the AC Evaporator and found no leaks. They suggested that we turn next week to confirm their diagnosis. Would you be satisfy with Sunset Dealership?

Heather FitzMaurice is awesome! This is the second car I have purchased from her. She helped me find the exact car I was looking for, outer color, interior color, all the specific options I wanted, in my price range, and expediently had it ready for me to pick up. Finally received my car back after waiting 3 Months for a transfer case ! Tried to get answers about the progress of the part w/o success. Contacted service manager, zone rep and even Coroporate . My calls went unanswered ! Very disappointed with the lack of customer service ! My car sat in your parking lot without being moved or started during that time . I was contacted by OnStar to have my car started to prevent a dead battery which in turn I had to contact the service department to attend to my car. really ? When I finally picked up the car , did not think to inspect it, expecting a clean car with no issues . Once driving home from dealership noticed that I could not see clearly out of my rear window. Once home , thinking it was just dirty , but to my surprise , the tint had bubbled terribly from sitting idle outside in your lot with the sun beaming down on it for three months . How was I able to leave the dealership with my car in that condition ???? In addition the car was very dirty .

I had a great experience except after I got home I noticed that 3 of the caps to the tire valve stems were missing. It was really upsetting because I had the expensive ones with the Cadillac emblem. I will call the service department tomorrow and see if they were found.
